Purpose of the Invention

  • Provides users with a lid and utensil holding system featuring multiple U-shapes to store, secure, and stabilize cookware lids and utensils while cooking.

  • Enables users to store the items on the system rather than placing them on the stovetop or nearby countertop, risking unsanitary contamination or damage to the items.

  • Prevents hot lids from being placed on the stovetop which can cause them to get cracked and damaged.

  • Improves safety when cooking, ensuring both hot lids and utensils can be stored without worry of accidental touching.

  • Reduces mess associated with cooking and the resulting cleanup afterward.

Problems Solved by the Invention

Sometimes finding room to place hot cookware lids and utensils while cooking can be frustrating. People may lack an area to place the products other than a countertop. If a hot lid is placed on a smooth, glass-top stove it can create a vacuum-like suction that can be strong enough to crack and break the top. Placing dirty utensils on the counter can lead to messes that need to be cleaned up after cooking.

Detailed Description

Lid Holder Plus is a tubular, metal stand featuring two U-shapes that can receive up to four cookware lids and kitchen utensils depending on their various sizes. The base supports the extending system upward at a 65-degree angle. Users can place cookware lids and utensils on the U-shapes for storage while cooking. The system can be placed near a stovetop, preventing from having to place the items on the stovetop or countertop. Users can improve safety and sanitary conditions in their kitchen, reducing mess and cleanup times.

Exact size, measurement, construction, and design specifications may vary upon further development and manufacturing.
