What is a working prototype?

A working prototype is a functioning prototype of your invention developed for the purpose of proving and testing your concept and design. Not all inventions will qualify for the working model service. The invention must be reviewed for do-ability and cost effectiveness before one decides to develop a working prototype.

How is the working model created?

The process for developing a working model starts with the same computer aided design development (CAD) that was described under the physical prototype page. From there the CAD file will be used to develop necessary molds and setup to produce the working model.
